In 2023 and 2024, I had the pleasure of serving as the General Contractor for 8-West Cosmetics, owned and operated by Thomas and Angie Buonassisi. I worked closely with Erin Rocco, Head of Operations, to successfully complete the full design and build of their new medical spa located at 221 West Esplanade, Unit 300, in North Vancouver.

This was a highly complex project within an occupied commercial building. Construction required careful coordination and planning, as we were working alongside active tenants including Elumind Brain Function Clinic, Freedom Mobile’s server room and office operations, and Vancouver Coastal Health. Maintaining strict safety standards, minimizing disruptions, and adhering to tight timelines were critical to the project’s successful delivery.

Through strong collaboration, detailed scheduling, and proactive communication with all stakeholders, we were able to complete a high-quality medical spa space that met both functional and aesthetic goals while respecting the operational needs of neighbouring tenants.
